Benefit POREfessional primer.

I've recently become a big fan of Benefit cosmetics, so when I heard that Glamour was giving away a free sample size of the POREfessional I automatically went out and bought it. Glamour is one of my monthly magazines anyway, so big plus!

I've never really used primer before, but I've been looking for a good one to try for a while now. I have quite oily skin so any foundation that I use pretty much disappears within a few hours of me applying it.  This was the perfect chance for me to try a good quality primer for only £2!

When I first applied it I was a bit worried about the colour. It seemed darker than my skin tone, but when rubbed into the skin it goes pretty much transparent. You only need the smallest bit and it has great coverage. The packaging says you can use a brush to apply, but I prefer rubbing it into the skin with my fingertips. The first thing I noticed was how soft it made my skin feel. Even when taken off at night, my skin feels so healthy and clean. I was concerned that using primer and foundation would leave my skin feeling coated in make up, but I didn't notice a difference at all. I applied my make up before I went to work, and my foundation was still in place before I went to bed, very impressed! Another plus with this product is the smell. It has a slight perfume-y tint to it but it's not overpowering and smells lovely.

I've been using it for about a week now, and I can notice a change in the size of my pores. They're significantly smaller and my skin feels much softer. Definitely going to be buying the full size product when this runs out!
